I He worked in a bistro in Perth. A pub there once said to me, “Internet! What good is that to anyone?” At the time I was thinking, What an idiot—what about mass sharing of information, or communicating with distant relatives? But the longer I thought about what he said, frankly, the more right he was. Nine out of 10 people use the internet to send fart recordings to their colleagues. This is a fact I got from the internet, so it must be true.
Anyway, here are a few things that make me laugh!
1. Nick Caper’s Pork Palace
Nick is one of the best comedians in the country. I was going to write something about how much I admire and respect his work but when I reviewed this Youtube link, I realized that the jerk didn’t give me credit for producing his show. Anyway, go watch it and leave a comment because, as we all know, on the internet everyone has an opinion and we should hear them all the time, even if you’re a loser!
Real estate agents are the best people in the world, and I respect them. Just kidding, they are huge skins and this Instagram account highlights douchebaggery. There are a lot of crazy scammers who love the featured grind on this page. Who would have thought that 40% of real estate agents have nunchucks? (Everyone who met one.)
3. The Little Dome Club Podcast
You’re probably thinking Brett, why would you recommend someone else’s podcast when you have a cooler method called flat stick That’s about dirt dams, auto racing, and action sports? I will say that because I am a decent person. The Little Dome Dome Club It’s probably the second funniest podcast in Australia and has heaps of crazy guests and wild stories in every episode. This and mid-flight brawl They are the only podcasts I listen to weekly.
4. A rooster attacks a weatherman on live TV
I’ve never watched morning TV – so many fake smiles and Botox that works for me! But in this clip, the weather man is being washed up by a rooster while trying to make up a good story. It makes me feel good every time I see it!
5. Grace Jarvis on Twitter
I have dyslexia, so I hate reading. If I had a famous phrase, it would be: “Words are for nerds.” But Grace’s tweets (which she also reposted on her Instagram) are the only thing I’d read, as well as any newspaper paying me to write this (wink). It’s a very funny pause, so go check it out!
6. Tim Hewitt on tik tok
Tim is one of the funniest comedians in Australia. His characters come alive and his comedy is destroying me. I love him. Give him his own TV show now!
7. Dude falls into a bowl with three wheels
First of all, it’s the worst bike I’ve ever seen. Three wheels carry all the danger of a motorbike and none of the comfort! If you’re not Billy Connolly on tour, get off them…they’re bullshit. But this video judges, because the guy starts out confident and then explodes. It went viral but it’s fair to say that most of the clicks are mine. Just when you think it’s over, it gets worse.
8. Jackass 3.5
I’ve been doing stand ups for 11 years and nothing I have or will ever write will be as funny as Eric Manaka fiddling with an ice hockey game. This 2011 movie is on Netflix – it’s too good to see them again and grayer than ever in Jackass Forever. Nothing is funnier than Jackass and if you don’t agree – you’re wrong.
9. Lure Rosario Day tik tok
I just had a tour with this guy and he cut me the whole time. I’ve been a big fan of TikToks for a while now. It’s basically cooked in a jungle – some good healthy content. Get around it!
10. Redfern Electric
John Croshank is a comedian/skater from Sydney. This self-financed movie was made about a stand-up comedian named John Croshank who retired to work as an electrician and it’s one of the best comedies I’ve seen in a long time. Some people wait for someone to hand them a blank check to do something great, but people like John get it done! If it’s funny, it will float.
