Back in their car, the eldest child of SKIMS founder and Kanye West carried a large Fredrix Blue Label canvas for acrylic, oil, and alkyd paint.

For a relaxed outing, Little North wore a baggy black shirt, burnt orange pants, and hair in braids.

In 2021, Kardashian shared an admirable affliction devised by her eldest son, sparking debate over whether North actually painted the breathtaking mountain landscapes herself.

“My daughter and her best friend were taking serious oil painting lessons where their talents and creativity are encouraged and nurtured,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram Stories at the time.

Some have compared the painting to a work of art that could have been designed by famous television artist Bob Ross.

Almost immediately, some on Twitter expressed their disbelief that the painting was made by North.

After much controversy over the painting’s authenticity – with many comments suggesting Kim’s kid was not responsible for the painting – she added: ‘How dare you see kids doing great things and then try to accuse them of not being cool!?!? !

Please stop embarrassing yourself with negativity and let every child be great!!! NW PAINTED THAT PERIOTDDDDDDABCDEFGZFDT!!!!!!! ‘

Others have jumped to her defense, including Kim BFF Tracy Romulus and the daughter of the woman who taught North how to paint the artwork.

One person wrote next to a snapshot of the painting: “I’m supposed to work but I can’t stop thinking about the way this Northwest wasn’t painted.”

“You’re telling me Northwest here paints like Bob Ross..and here I’m still drawing stick figures at 25?!?” Another skeptical user posted on Twitter.

Another exclaimed: “Kim Kardashian’s baby didn’t draw this. You can even see the photo shop signature. And even if you don’t, it’s Kim K so take everything she says with a tablespoon of salt.

Proud of their work: Tracy Romulus defends Kim, explaining that her daughter Ryan is doing the same art class with North. I also asked people to stop spreading negativity

Some online critics have even questioned North’s signature in the corner of the painting, claiming it is a fake.

“When you zoom in you can see the border on the transparent ‘North =)’, one person noticed, while another noted ‘Why does it look like this when zoomed in….hmmm…’

However, others declared that the painting was definitely within the skill range of a seven-year-old.

Kim’s girlfriend Tracy Romulus, whose daughter Ryan is North’s friend, came to E! The star’s defense, revealing that their daughters take the same art class together.

She insisted that the artworks were original because the students start from a blank canvas and spend weeks creating them.

‘I have to comment,’ Romulus said on her Instagram stories, but adults take a lot of energy to wonder whether or not my daughter and her best friend actually painted the works that we proudly shared as parents.

Both girls are in an art class together and learn oil painting techniques from an instructor.

“They spend weeks at a time on one board and take incredibly pride in themselves once they’ve completed a project.”

She added that the girls start with a blank canvas and that “the works are original”.

“They follow a syllabus but the works are original, starting with a whiteboard and each child’s interpretation.”

Romulus called on people to stop spreading negativity and doubts about the child’s ability.

She’s been an art teacher for 30 years and everyone who comes into her classes starts with the exact same painting when they start.
